Current Programs and Initiatives
•Conduct eye screenings for Pre-school and Kindergarten children.
- The screenings are administered in order to identify and help prevent any eye disorders.
•Eyeglass recycling for children and adults in developing nations.
- Eyeglass donations can be made at any post office in West Milford, Hewitt, and Newfoundland.
•Help provide eye exams and eyeglasses for children in need.
•Maintain the "Chipmunk" Cabin at Camp Marcella and support camp activities
- We help provide a camping experience for blind and visually impaired children, ages 5-16, at the camp.
•Organize and hold White Cane fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
- Funding provides support to visually impaired individuals and organizations serving the blind.
•Sponsor and participate in the Miracle for Matthew Walk in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
•Sponsor an annual Peace Poster Contest for area Middle School students
•West Milford High School Scholarships
- Provide scholarships to eligible high school students.
•Built and maintain 4 Bus Shelters on major township roads
•Provide food baskets for families in need.
•Support West Milford Presbyterian Church Food Pantry
•Organize and sponsor an annual Health & Wellness Fair for area residents.
